Plantar Fasciitis

WHAT IS PLANTAR FASCIITIS?

Plantar fasciitis is a painful inflammatory process of the plantar fascia, the connective tissue on the sole (bottom surface) of the foot. It is often caused by overuse of the plantar fascia or arch tendon of theplantar fasciitis foot. It is a very common condition , but can take a long time to heal.  Pain is usually worse in the morning when first waking up , and usually gets better throughout the day as the fascia warms up.
